Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mattias Smitt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Michael Rolandsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sune Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Sten Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Åke Biörling's late challenge caught a Svartsjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Biörling helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Årnebo Flyers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Biörling to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Årnebo Flyers's Egon Kinnman got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sten Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mattias Smitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svartsjö's Sune Flinck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Svartsjö from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Smitt in the 41st minute of play forced Svartsjö's goalkeeper Sune Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattias Smitt to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Svartsjö got a freekick which was hit by Casper Waller. Michael Rolandsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mattias Smitt came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Årnebo Flyers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Smitt couldn't finish the play. Jan-Erik Kvarnström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Årnebo Flyers's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Ödmann came free, but Andréas Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sune Flinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Rolandsson in the 68th minute of the match. Sune Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Smitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Michael Rolandsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sune Flinck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Rolandsson ran back to his position shaking his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Årnebo Flyers's goalkeeper Andréas Lekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Biörkman. The audience was convinced that Mattias Smitt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sune Flinck was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Sten Biörkman took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Lekberg. Andréas Lekberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Andréas Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Ödmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sune Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Smitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Årnebo Flyers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Svartsjö had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
