Karl-Åke Billock might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Lundblad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Billock ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Lundblad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Ersman went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Jens-Åke Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flen's Jens-Åke Påk got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience held their breath when Jens-Åke Påk in the 29th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Magne Johansson's left hand side. 32 minutes into the game, Inge Bank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nordmarkshyttan IFK the free kick. If Bengt Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Inge Bank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ola Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Bank was the one to do the kick off. If Karl-Åke Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Lundblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Ersman in the 64th minute of the match. Bengt Ersman might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Lundblad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt Ersman ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Lundblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Ersman in the 67th minute of play. Nordmarkshyttan IFK's Karl-Åke Billock got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Åke Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Nordmarkshyttan IFK's Ola Olsson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nordmarkshyttan IFK's zone, Marc Törnqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Johansson came out of the goal and Marc Törnqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karl-Åke Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flen's Sebastian Lundblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Ersman in the 78th minute of play. Bengt Ersman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Lundblad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Björn Törnblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard, long distance shot from Inge Bank flew over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Jens-Åke Påk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nordmarkshyttan IFK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Flen for a fine match.
