The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Morgan Haraldsson during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Falkenbergs FF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Haraldsson. Urban Soned kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Daniel Stabbe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Napoli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkenbergs FF the free kick. Daniel Stabbe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jens Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Nils Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Daniel Stabbe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Uter. Falkenbergs FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Stabbe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute, Melker Sundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melker Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Andersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Kihlman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gustaf Barck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Barck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Falkenbergs FF's Dan Uter got control of the ball when Melker Sundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Nils Andersson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dan Uter, passed just outside the right post. The audience was convinced that Jens Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Barck was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Melker Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Uter having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Falkenbergs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Haraldsson to maneuver through the defense. Melker Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Nils Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Andersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Nils Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melker Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Napoli eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
