Egil Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Tidéksson struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Joar Alberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Norrahammar. In the 22nd match minute, Kronan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Sigman to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Evert Levander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Norrahammar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kronan FK the free kick. A collision led to FC Norrahammar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Evert Levander hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Burman in the 36th minute of play forced Kronan FK's goalkeeper Joar Alberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joar Alberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Tidéksson got free with Joar Alberg in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joar Alberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Burman, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Kronan FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kennet Emander to make the kick off. Robert Vestlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Emander in the 56th minute of play. Pål Kalfhage hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Dan Hake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Robert Vestlund made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, FC Norrahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Levander to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Anders Tidéksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Alberg. Kronan FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Tidéksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Kennet Emander hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Anders Tidéksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Alberg. Kronan FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Kronan FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
