The referee ignored Ugglorna's protests and gave Bernt Wester a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ugglorna getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bernt Wester hit a great ball. After 7 minutes, Claes Back mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ugglorna and the Glemmingebro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Ugglorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Back to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Arvid Jonasson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 12 minutes of play Ugglorna's Bernt Wester was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 13th minute, Bernt Wester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Jonas Stålberg made a precise shot to the right of Timmy Fagerberg. Ugglorna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmund Friberger during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ugglorna's Edmund Friberger got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ugglorna's Timmy Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Jonasson in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Arvid Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Fagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Glemmingebro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmund Friberger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edmund Friberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Strandberg having to interfere.

Sven Backlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Timmy Fagerberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcus Strandberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 77th minute, Claes Back got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Arvid Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timmy Fagerberg was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Marcus Strandberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glemmingebro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
