In the 13th minute, Kennet Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Åberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robert Vestlund. FC Norrahammar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Glemmingebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Tönnberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Lennart Kilstedt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Strandberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Glemmingebro got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Stålberg. After 27 played minutes, FC Norrahammar's Lennart Kilstedt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Strandberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Norrahammar reached it. Sven Backlund hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Arvid Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes FC Norrahammar got a freekick which was hit by Egil Burman. Marcus Strandberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anders Tidéksson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 43rd minute Egil Burman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Marcus Strandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Burman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sven Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Vestlund having to interfere. In the 56th minute Kent Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Joel Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Backlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Vestlund having to make a save. Anders Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marcus Strandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Pål Kalfhage notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Glemmingebro's Marcus Strandberg. Marcus Strandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74thth minute of the game Anders Tidéksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glemmingebro's Marcus Strandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Egil Burman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Glemmingebro's Pelle Tönnberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Robert Vestlund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arvid Jonasson. After having played for 90 minutes, Sven Backlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glemmingebro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Backlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glemmingebro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
