Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Melker Brandin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Isaac Stenman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvin Sigman having to make a save. Alvin Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Brandin in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Ingemar Apelquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Hansson during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Zone's Ulrik Svensson got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ingemar Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Blomquist scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Hedin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurt Hedin came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by The Zone's Olov Blomquist. But to his dismay, Olov Blomquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Olov Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The Zone's Olov Blomquist got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingemar Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kurt Hedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lerum defense, Ingemar Apelquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Hedin. The Lerum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Hedin should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, The Zone's Henry Andreasson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Ingemar Apelquist came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the The Zone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingemar Apelquist couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, The Zone's Olov Blomquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Hedin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 78th minute Melker Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Brandin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alvin Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Andreasson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kurt Hedin. Lerum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alvin Sigman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Stenman in the 92nd minute. Ingemar Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Hedin having to interfere. The Zone's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
