A collision led to Runhällen BF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Erland Åkesson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Runhällen BF's zone, Ingemar Apelquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dag Fågel came out of the goal and Ingemar Apelquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Olov Blomquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Asklund hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ingemar Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Einar Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Runhällen BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Pilblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nils Pilblad came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Runhällen BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Pilblad couldn't finish the play. Dag Fågel made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Olov Blomquist sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Nils Pilblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alvin Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Runhällen BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Apelquist came free, but Dag Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Nils Pilblad elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Apelquist in the 65th minute of play forced Runhällen BF's goalkeeper Dag Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Lennart Julin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvin Sigman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingemar Apelquist in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dag Fågel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Apelquist in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dag Fågel saved Runhällen BF from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Ingemar Apelquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Runhällen BF's Dag Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Blomquist in the 72nd minute of play. After a long run with the ball, Henry Andreasson did a trick in the 76th minute in front of Runhällen BF's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Blomquist in the 90th minute of play forced Runhällen BF's goalkeeper Dag Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Runhällen BF's Erland Åkesson got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match The Zone got a corner. Runhällen BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henry Andreasson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Zone's Henry Andreasson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dag Fågel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th minute Nils Pilblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Pilblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Sigman having to interfere. The Runhällen BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
