Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven-Erik Kvarnström got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of FK Velez booed when Visby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Lindsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Bergendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Gråberg having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Benjamin Bergendahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manfred Gråberg. Visby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Bergendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elias Lindsten hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Visby's Sture Runberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl Göransson. That made the score 1-2 after 29 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute Sven-Erik Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Gråberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Runberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Sture Runberg suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 41 minutes, Thomas Malmberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Velez and the Visby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FK Velez's zone, Jon Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Göransson came out of the goal and Jon Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaf Bivall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Visby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FK Velez were winning 1-2.

Visby's Manfred Gråberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Visby from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Kvarnström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Gråberg was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Michael Heggert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Velez's Leo Holmgren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manfred Gråberg but with some difficulty. In the 83rd minute, Jon Waller made a precise shot to the right of Karl Göransson. FK Velez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sven-Erik Kvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Velez's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Kvarnström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Gråberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Visby's Manfred Gråberg got control of the ball when Benjamin Bergendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Erik Kvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
