Torsten Alstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Karl Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Nord took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Bergendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Sven-Erik Kvarnström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrik Nord. Erik Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Byström during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rusksele getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hjalmar Byström hit a great ball. Benjamin Bergendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Bergendahl struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Patrik Nord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Velez. After a defensive mix-up in FK Velez's zone, Mårten Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Göransson came out of the goal and Mårten Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mårten Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Rusksele's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Kvarnström came free, but Patrik Nord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rusksele players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FK Velez were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Erik Kvarnström to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes FK Velez got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Kvarnström. After a defensive mix-up in FK Velez's zone, Mårten Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Göransson came out of the goal and Mårten Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mårten Holmberg in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Göransson saved FK Velez from getting behind. Karl Göransson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torsten Alstedt's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Torsten Alstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rusksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Torsten Alstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Bergendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. When Mårten Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Rusksele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Holmberg couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Rusksele's Mårten Holmberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Göransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to FK Velez getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vidar Olsson hit a great ball.
