The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rudolf Björklund made the kick off which started today's match. If Rolf Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Snäll in the 5th minute of play forced Skansen's goalkeeper Östen Haegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Burman in the 6th minute of play. TEGEN's Leo Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save TEGEN from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Björklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Östen Haegg was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Hampus Smed kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Viktor Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TEGEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Snäll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Östen Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Björklund in the 20th minute of the match. Skansen's Östen Haegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Snäll in the 21st minute of play. Viktor Snäll got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Östen Haegg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Leo Ström made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jon Simonsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Björklund in the 33rd minute of play forced Skansen's goalkeeper Östen Haegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Björklund in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Östen Haegg saved Skansen from getting behind. Viktor Snäll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Rudolf Björklund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Skansen's Östen Haegg. Östen Haegg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Skansen's Jon Simonsson got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Rolf Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Leo Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Lennartsson in the 53rd minute of the match. If Jörgen Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Skansen's Östen Haegg got control of the ball when Rolf Blixt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leo Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Simonsson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Rudolf Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Haegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Skansen booed when TEGEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Hedman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Bruhn, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Leo Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Simonsson in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Alvar Billing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Simonsson in the 79th minute of play forced TEGEN's goalkeeper Leo Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Jörgen Lundin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leo Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rolf Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Haegg having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Rudolf Björklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TEGEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Viktor Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Haegg having to interfere. The TEGEN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TEGEN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
