Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) In the 4thth minute of the game Kristoffer Wester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidsel IF's Tom Bengtsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to STARS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Stig-Ove Almstedt hit a great ball. Vidsel IF's Nils Billberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for STARS. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Uggla in the 12th minute of play forced STARS's goalkeeper Marcus Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Lidström made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ted Adelsköld sent off a good shot on target. Vidsel IF's Tom Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Wester in the 17th minute of play. Yngve Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Bengtsson having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Yngve Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Malmström kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ted Adelsköld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Vidsel IF got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Rang. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yngve Unesson in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Bengtsson saved Vidsel IF from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Uggla got free with Marcus Lidström in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Yngve Unesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tom Bengtsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristoffer Wester to make the kick off. If Ted Adelsköld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Ted Adelsköld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Lidström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kristoffer Wester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Bengtsson having to interfere. Marcus Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Uggla, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ted Adelsköld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidsel IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Adelsköld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Lidström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Wallin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vidsel IF's Nils Billberg tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tom Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Wester in the 90th minute of the match. Ted Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcus Lidström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
