Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthon Kilstedt started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Hans Byström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalby's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Byström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Åkerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute Hans Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Åkerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Arne Biörling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Åkerström was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Hans Byström came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Dalby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Byström couldn't finish the play. Stefan Åkerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Arne Biörling went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Bengt-Arne Biörling made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Åkerström. Deje's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 27th minute, Arman Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Arne Biörling in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Åkerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stefan Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Biörling, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sune Karlberg during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Arne Biörling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stefan Åkerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Biörling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Arne Biörling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Tunander came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Deje's Kim Björkman. But to his dismay, Kim Björkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Stefan Åkerström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stellan Örtlund. In the 78th minute, Deje's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hans Byström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 82 played minutes, Dalby's Stellan Örtlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Åkerström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dalby reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Deje's zone, Hans Byström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Åkerström came out of the goal and Hans Byström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kim Björkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Allan Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deje fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dalby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
