Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joakim Hedvall started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gustav Rudkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Hellqvist in the 3rd minute. Evert Hellqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustav Rudkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Banana Republic's goalkeeper Gustav Rudkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Hellqvist. 8 minutes into the match, Älmestad BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Strömberg came free, but Charles Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Banana Republic got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Holmberg. Emil Lundgren, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Banana Republic's Gustav Rudkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Banana Republic from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Älmestad BK's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Sundin came free, but Charles Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Älmestad BK got a freekick which was hit by Robin Andberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fredric Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banana Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredric Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Willig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Älmestad BK defense, Fredric Strömberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Willig. The Älmestad BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Willig should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Älmestad BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Banana Republic a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agne Uter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Älmestad BK's Charles Willig. 0-2. In the 30thth minute of the game Olle Sundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Älmestad BK's Charles Willig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olle Sundin in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Willig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Banana Republic's Knut Linqvist got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Fredric Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Banana Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredric Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Olle Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Willig having to interfere. After the first half Banana Republic were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Strömberg to make the kick off. Olle Sundin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Charles Willig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banana Republic. After a defensive mix-up in Älmestad BK's zone, Fredric Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Willig came out of the goal and Fredric Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joakim Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Rudkvist having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Olle Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banana Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Sundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Banana Republic defense, Evert Hellqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustav Rudkvist. The Banana Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustav Rudkvist should have stopped the shot. Charles Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Strömberg in the 84th minute of the match. Evert Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Rudkvist having to interfere. If Fredric Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Robin Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Sundins short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Charles Willig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustav Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Hellqvist in the 97th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Evert Hellqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Banana Republic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Älmestad BK.
