An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Sven-Ove Vennerlund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sven-Ove Vennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Beckeman having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Jens-Ove Heggert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Erik Beckeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Åke Wikander in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Wikander got free with Karl-Erik Beckeman in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Vennerlund in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Beckeman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Erik Beckeman made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Stig-Åke Wikander sent off a good shot on target. Stig-Åke Wikander didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 37th minute. Skå FF's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 43rd minute, Skå FF's Sven-Ove Vennerlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Erik Beckeman. Karl-Erik Beckeman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Åström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
