Skå FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erik Fors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Vennerlund in the 33rd minute of the match. Christian Pihlberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sven-Ove Vennerlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Fors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Skå FF's Svante Apelqvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Agne Ahlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 74 played minutes Sven-Ove Vennerlund rounded Hammarö's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Georg Björkdahl's late challenge caught a Skå FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Björkdahl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Hammarö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. Hammarö's Erik Fors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Hammarö from getting a goal against them. Sven-Ove Vennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Fors having to interfere. After some careless play in the Skå FF defense, Christer Lindberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Lind. The Skå FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Lind should have stopped the shot. Skå FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
