Verner Andreasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skälvik RK. If Kjell Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Henric Grubb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Per-Erik Hedström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Henric Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Skälvik RK got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Karlsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Engman in the 29th minute of play forced Tygelsjö's goalkeeper Verner Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Samuel Sandwall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skälvik RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Sandwall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Verner Andreasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Samuel Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Skälvik RK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Bengtsson came free, but Henric Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tygelsjö's Verner Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Engman in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell Bengtsson made a kick off. If Kjell Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Bengtsson in the 66th minute of play forced Skälvik RK's goalkeeper Henric Grubb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henric Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Skälvik RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Engman to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Andreasson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tygelsjö's Kåre Brandin got a free kick in the 79th minute. Verner Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Sandwall got free with Verner Andreasson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjell Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wilhelm Karlsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. After 95 minutes Skälvik RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Johan Granberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Tygelsjö's Karl-Johan Granberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Henric Grubb despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Kåre Brandin came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Tygelsjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kåre Brandin couldn't finish the play. Skälvik RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
