With a little luck, Södertälje Titans's Torgny Lindberg got control of the ball when Ove Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Sebastian Alegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Blomqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södertälje Titans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Öberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Krigarna AB's goalkeeper Fredric Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arne Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredric Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Maximilian Öberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Södertälje Titans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Öberg couldn't finish the play. If Arne Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Krigarna AB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södertälje Titans the free kick. Fredric Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Södertälje Titans's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
