Karl-Oskar Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Carlsson in the 11th minute of the match. Daniel Back showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Christian Bröms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Bergqvist having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Carlsson in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Bergqvist saved Åmål BF from getting behind. Jonatan Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Bergqvist having to interfere. Daniel Back made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Lindqvist in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jonatan Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödeshög BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Oskar Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Jonatan Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Åmål BF's Gilbert Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Back narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Christian Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödeshög BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Carlsson to make the kick off. Gilbert Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Daniel Back didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åmål BF. Joakim Boström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Ödeshög BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Lindqvist came free, but Daniel Back reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Anselius hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Christian Bröms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ödeshög BK's Daniel Back tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Carlsson in the 96th minute of play forced Åmål BF's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
