Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Södra Vi's Tommy Jonasson got a free kick in the 12th minute. The long shot by Erik Hellsing in the 13th minute really tested Frans Drewitz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Dahlquist in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frans Drewitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alvar Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herrljunga IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Öberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Drewitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Alf Dahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvar Öberg got free with Frans Drewitz in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaf Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Erik Hellsing, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Södra Vi getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tommy Jonasson hit a great ball. Frans Drewitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Öberg in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Håkansson in the 47th minute of play forced Herrljunga IK's goalkeeper Uno Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Dahlquist to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Erik Hellsing sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frans Drewitz skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, Fred Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Alf Dahlquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uno Kvick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Håkansson in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Södra Vi's Lukas Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uno Kvick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herrljunga IK's Karl-Ove Pedersson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Södra Vi's Frans Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Dahlquist in the 67th minute of play. If Alf Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Herrljunga IK's goalkeeper Uno Kvick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukas Håkansson. Frans Drewitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Öberg in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Gilbert Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södra Vi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Södra Vi's goalkeeper Frans Drewitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
