Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jakob Boström took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match, Claes Näver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arne Vacker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Olov Blanck fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djupvik Woodpeckers's protests and gave Olov Blanck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Djupvik Woodpeckers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Blanck to maneuver through the defense. Arne Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Boström in the 12th minute of the match. Claes Näver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Arne Vacker made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Claes Näver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Vacker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Djupvik Woodpeckers's Karl-Erik Nyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marko Askelöf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arne Vacker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Boström's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Örnas Legender's Jakob Boström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Örnas Legender's Marko Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Nyman in the 36th minute of play. Olov Blanck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakob Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 minutes, Anthon Tidéksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Djupvik Woodpeckers and the Örnas Legender players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Djupvik Woodpeckers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Tidéksson to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Blanck to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Örnas Legender's Jon Smitt got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jakob Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Vacker having to interfere. Claes Näver kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Djupvik Woodpeckers defense, Claes Näver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Vacker. The Djupvik Woodpeckers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Vacker should have stopped the shot. Arne Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Boström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Vacker came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Örnas Legender's Claes Näver. But to his dismay, Claes Näver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Karl-Erik Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marko Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ingvar Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Boström in the 92nd minute of play forced Djupvik Woodpeckers's goalkeeper Arne Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Djupvik Woodpeckers's Jens-Ola Håning made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marko Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Örnas Legender fans cheered their team off the field, for while Djupvik Woodpeckers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
