Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tony Bergman kicked off to start the match. Marko Askelöf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Pelle Olsson made a huge save. If Karl Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Kent Lööf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evolution's Pelle Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Evolution from getting a goal against them. Marko Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pelle Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nordmaling FK's Robin Lundin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Karl Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Finman having to interfere. When Tony Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Evolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Bergman couldn't finish the play. After having played for 30 minutes, Karl Fridlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evolution's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Fridlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evolution's Pelle Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Evolution from getting a goal against them. Karl Fridlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Evolution's Tony Bergman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Finman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ingvar Finman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Lööf made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Kent Lööf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelle Olsson was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Karl Fridlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Evolution's Tony Bergman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Pelle Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Askelöf in the 65th minute of the match. If Marko Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Evolution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. When Roger Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nordmaling FK's protests and gave Roger Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nordmaling FK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Roger Norberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lööf in the 78th minute of play forced Evolution's goalkeeper Pelle Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nordmaling FK booed when Evolution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Björkdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Marko Askelöf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nordmaling FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Nordmaling FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Evolution's performance. The match ended with a win for Evolution.
