The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Folke Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes, Michael Ros made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grabbarna110's Calle Hafström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Leif Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnby Fotboll Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rönnby Fotboll Club's Michael Ros got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Folke Säfström came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Rönnby Fotboll Club fans jumped to their feet. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Michael Ros sped through Grabbarna110's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calle Hafström. The Grabbarna110 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rönnby Fotboll Club were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Säfström in the 52nd minute of play forced Grabbarna110's goalkeeper Calle Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Michael Ros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Calle Hafström, 0-5. 58 minutes into the game, Rönnby Fotboll Club's Folke Säfström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calle Hafström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Folke Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Hafström having to interfere. Folke Säfströms short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Calle Hafström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Folke Säfström in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
