Kristoffer Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Lövkvist having to interfere. In the 5th minute of the match, Ingvar Hansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gert Lövkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A hard shot 11 in the game by Ingvar Hansson from a close distance when the talented Gert Lövkvist managed to make a qualified save. FC United's players were relieved. Kristoffer Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gert Lövkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Hansson's late challenge caught a FC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. Ingvar Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, FC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Boman to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Christer Åman hit a great ball. Göran Askestät kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Kristoffer Hammarbäck struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gert Lövkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Booi Barmans BK. Ingvar Hansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Gert Lövkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 35 played minutes Kristoffer Hammarbäck rounded FC United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Knut Jakobsson's late challenge caught a Booi Barmans BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Knut Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Booi Barmans BK booed when FC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Booi Barmans BK's goalkeeper Aron Västberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Joakim Albom came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Albom couldn't finish the play. Ingvar Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristoffer Hammarbäck made a kick off. Gert Lövkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristoffer Hammarbäck's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 62 minutes, Joakim Albom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC United and the Booi Barmans BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joakim Albom hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Booi Barmans BK's Kristoffer Hammarbäck got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC United's Gert Lövkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Hansson in the 69th minute of play. Kristoffer Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Hammarbäck in the 72nd minute of play forced FC United's goalkeeper Gert Lövkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC United's Joakim Albom got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jan-Ove Boman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Ingvar Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Booi Barmans BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Kristoffer Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Lövkvist having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Booi Barmans BK had won after a very even match.
