After a defensive mix-up in LA Golds's zone, Arvid Brolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Eklund came out of the goal and Arvid Brolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Oscar Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Ludvig Simonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA Golds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvig Simonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Olof Qvalfeldt came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by LA Golds's Henning Möller. But to his dismay, Henning Möller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Timmy Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Brolin in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Axel Fribäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Horda's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Möller came free, but Jan-Olof Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ludvig Simonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LA Golds booed when Horda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Wennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half LA Golds were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvid Brolin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Hökkvist in the 54th minute of play forced LA Golds's goalkeeper Timmy Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes, Horda's Torbjörn Rosén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timmy Eklund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horda reached it. Horda's Jan-Olof Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Simonsson in the 59th minute of play. Henning Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Timmy Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jarl Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Fribäck charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Fribäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LA Golds's Axel Fribäck got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th match minute, LA Golds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. Timmy Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarl Hökkvist went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jan-Olof Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Simonsson in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Axel Fribäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of LA Golds booed when Horda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Wennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jarl Hökkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarl Hökkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timmy Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The LA Golds players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Horda from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
