Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rune Drewitz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Rune Drewitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Knivsta's zone, Pontus Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Duset came out of the goal and Pontus Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Erland Arhenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knivsta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vindelgransele the free kick. Erland Arhenius hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Knivsta got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Tham. After 20 minutes Knivsta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was August Kjellman who took care of the corner kick. 22 minutes into the match, Knivsta's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Lundgren came free, but Mathias Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arvin Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Vindelgransele's Arvin Lundgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias Duset. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. If Pontus Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rune Drewitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knivsta's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Drewitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Stolpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arvin Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mathias Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Pontus Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mathias Duset was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arvin Lundgren made the kick off in the second half. Pontus Lundqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Duset having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Knivsta's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Lundgren came free, but Mathias Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Knivsta's Johnny Tham got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Vindelgransele's Arvin Lundgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Duset made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Rune Drewitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knivsta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Drewitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Vindelgransele got a freekick which was hit by Stig Lennartsson. Knivsta's Johnny Tham suffered a concussion in the 68th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Elias Hjeltman fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vindelgransele's protests and gave Elias Hjeltman a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Vindelgransele got a freekick which was hit by Elias Hjeltman. Knivsta's Bo Ferm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lars Stolpe but with some difficulty. Arvin Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Lundgren in the 77th minute of play. When Paul Rydelius fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knivsta's protests and gave Paul Rydelius a yellow card for diving instead. Arvin Lundgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias Duset. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arvin Lundgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul Rydelius kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. August Kjellman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mathias Duset. Knivsta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Arvin Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vindelgransele's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvin Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Vindelgransele's goalkeeper Lars Stolpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Malmgren. When Paul Rydelius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 97th minute, Paul Rydelius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vindelgransele had played much better football throughout.
