Fred Blom started the match with the kick off. Enviken's Torbjörn Uggla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Ödmann in the 8th minute of play. Jens-Ove Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BK Kävlinge's Alfred Ekström got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Enviken's Nils Engman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Paul Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enviken's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Askelöf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to BK Kävlinge getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Evert Ödmann hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, BK Kävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Walroth to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Enviken's Paul Bröms sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Ove Askelöf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Enviken's Fred Blom made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdemar Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Uggla having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar Lindqvist to make the kick off. Enviken's Paul Bröms got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Ove Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Blom in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Enviken's zone, Evert Ödmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Uggla came out of the goal and Evert Ödmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of BK Kävlinge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Enviken:s goal. Östen Skålberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Fred Blom struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jens-Ove Askelöf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enviken. The audience was convinced that Fred Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ove Askelöf was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The supporters of Enviken booed when BK Kävlinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Valdemar Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Kävlinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Uggla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Valdemar Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the BK Kävlinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Paul Bröms had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ove Askelöf. BK Kävlinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Bröms was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match was over Enviken could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BK Kävlinge throughout the match.
