Jim Kiempe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anders Ekerot. Gösta Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, FC IBRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Ekerot to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC IBRA's zone, Alvar Björck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Carlberg came out of the goal and Alvar Björck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Fredrik Hurtig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC IBRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skillingsfors the free kick. After 25 played minutes FC IBRA got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Hurtig. After a rather tough play, FC IBRA's Gösta Tomasson got a free kick in the 29th minute. Skillingsfors's Carl Blanck got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Blanck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Albert Carlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Gilbert Örtendal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Carlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo-Erik Granström to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Skillingsfors's Gilbert Örtendal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Carlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bo-Erik Granström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bo-Erik Granström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Gösta Tomasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC IBRA and the Skillingsfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC IBRA getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gösta Tomasson hit a great ball. Sven-Olof Martinsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 75 played minutes Skillingsfors got a freekick which was hit by Patric Kleen. In the 79th minute Gilbert Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Carlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, FC IBRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. Skillingsfors's Alvar Björck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC IBRA. In the 85th minute, Gösta Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Skillingsfors's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Granström came free, but Jim Kiempe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skillingsfors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
