But to his dismay, Ernst Benett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ola Högberg's late challenge caught a Nälden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ola Högberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nälden booed when Trelleborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Högberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Uter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesper Gudmundsson. Trelleborg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Nälden players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Erik Skröder made a kick off.
