Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gösta Gustafsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gösta Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Olov Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Magne Örnberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Uppsala Thunderbears's Christian Wallgren got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Reine Almkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egon Trillkott showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Egon Trillkott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Unesson in the 19th minute of the match. Magne Örnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Olov Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gösta Gustafsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olov Mårtensson. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Olov Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Nykvist hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Magne Örnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Olov Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egon Trillkott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Magnusson in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Gustafsson in the 44th minute of play forced Slackers's goalkeeper Olov Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Fredriksson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andréas Magnusson to make the kick off. Andréas Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egon Trillkott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andréas Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. Uppsala Thunderbears's Egon Trillkott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Uppsala Thunderbears from getting a goal against them. Gösta Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gösta Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Slackers got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Grubb. Kenny Unesson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Egon Trillkott firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gösta Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Gustafsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Mårtensson having to make a save. Egon Trillkott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andréas Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Kenny Unesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slackers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenny Unesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Forsman during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Jim Forsman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isak Björkkvist hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
