In the 8th minute of the match, Oscar Lägdin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Askberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Richard Askberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Benet went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute Oscar Lägdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Vidman came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vrångö's Oscar Hellsing. But to his dismay, Oscar Hellsing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Vrångö's Richard Askberg got control of the ball when William Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Lägdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Askberg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when William Benet sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Askberg having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Oscar Hellsing made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vrångö's zone, William Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Askberg came out of the goal and William Benet tried to chip the ball over his head.
