Sorsele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jens-Ove Bjursell hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Håknäs's Uno Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Eklund in the 18th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Jens-Ove Bjursell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, Sorsele's Lars Biörling shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uno Unesson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sorsele reached it. Ronny Lundström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Isaac Ek, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Wiktor Eklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uno Unesson. Håknäs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Eklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Sorsele's Pål Wallander got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gösta Ahlroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sorsele!

The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Eklund got free with Uno Unesson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nils Kvick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorsele's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Kvick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uno Unesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sorsele's Wiktor Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Wiktor Eklund in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uno Unesson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 72nd match minute, Sorsele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Nils Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match Valdemar Lundström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uno Unesson skillfully saved the ball. Wiktor Eklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uno Unesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Kvick's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Håknäs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nils Kvick fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 90 minutes into the game, Wiktor Eklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Uno Unesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiktor Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Uno Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Håknäs booed when Sorsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sorsele walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
