Marc Runberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Haegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Runberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Haegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Albin Ekeroth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gefle Hotspur FC's Marc Runberg. Marc Runberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Haegg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ludvig Levander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Flink in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Hamndalens FF booed when Gefle Hotspur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Dalberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Runberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Haegg in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Haegg in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc Runberg saved Gefle Hotspur FC from getting behind. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Flink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Gefle Hotspur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Haegg came free, but Marc Runberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Eddie Flink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gefle Hotspur FC and the Hamndalens FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marc Runberg made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when William Blomberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hamndalens FF booed when Gefle Hotspur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Hamndalens FF's Albin Ekeroth shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marc Runberg but with some difficulty. After 65 played minutes Hamndalens FF got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Siöberg. If Eddie Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Hamndalens FF's Ivan Haegg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Runberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gefle Hotspur FC's Marcus Alebeck suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. During the 72nd minute of the match Håkan Engström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Håkan Engström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gefle Hotspur FC made a substitution. Olof Malm replaced Marcus Alebeck. A collision led to Hamndalens FF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Håkan Engström hit a great ball. A hard shot 80 in the game by William Blomberg from a close distance when the talented Marc Runberg managed to make a qualified save. Gefle Hotspur FC's players were relieved. If William Blomberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hamndalens FF defense, Eddie Flink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludvig Levander. The Hamndalens FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludvig Levander should have stopped the shot. William Blomberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marc Runberg came out and tried to block the shot, but William Blomberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Olof Malm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gefle Hotspur FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamndalens FF the free kick. Marc Runberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albin Ekeroth. William Blomberg struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Marc Runberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamndalens FF. The Hamndalens FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
