With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Olof Vennerberg in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmie Ahlrot saved Moheda from getting behind. Moheda's Jimmie Ahlrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Moheda from getting a goal against them. Moheda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Per-Olof Vennerberg scored to the left of an out of position Jimmie Ahlrot, making the score, 1-0. Egon Colin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Olof Vennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jimmie Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Vennerberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Moheda's goalkeeper Jimmie Ahlrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Ahlrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Olof Vennerberg's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Moheda's Bo Axelsson got a free kick in the 28th minute. Albin Sandström scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egon Colin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Moheda's Jimmie Ahlrot got control of the ball when Allan Sandberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmie Ahlrot was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Per-Olof Vennerberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per-Olof Vennerberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Per-Olof Vennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jimmie Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albin Sandström was the one to do the kick off. Per-Olof Vennerberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jimmie Ahlrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orange Marmalade City. Johan Benett took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Colin. Egon Colin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Per-Olof Vennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orange Marmalade City's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Olof Vennerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmie Ahlrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moheda's goalkeeper Jimmie Ahlrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Moheda defense, Korneliusz Chmielecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmie Ahlrot. The Moheda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmie Ahlrot should have stopped the shot. Jimmie Ahlrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Orange Marmalade City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Jernberg to maneuver through the defense. Jimmie Ahlrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Vennerberg in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Orange Marmalade City's Folke Stigsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Egon Colin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Falk in the 92nd minute. Per-Olof Vennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Ahlrot having to interfere. Jimmie Ahlrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Chmielecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
