Gert Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Åström in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Åström in the 20th minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Gert Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Alfons Åström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gert Nordström. Ängelholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Åström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Olle Smedfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Smedfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Ängelholm got a freekick which was hit by Rune Fredriksson. In the 36th minute Ragnar Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Saints's Alfons Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olle Smedfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Wållander to strike the kick off in the second half. Ragnar Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Nordström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ängelholm's zone, Ragnar Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Nordström came out of the goal and Ragnar Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfons Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Flink kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th minute Ivan Flink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olle Smedfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Stenqvist hit a great ball. 81 minutes in the game, Axel Wållander dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Ängelholm's Axel Wållander in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Saints's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, The Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Wållander came free, but Tord Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
