Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Rulfs Angels's Klas Sandwall started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Klas Sandwall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vimmerby FF's Patrick Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 3rd minute, Alfred Helberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Håkansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Klas Sandwall fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rulfs Angels's protests and gave Klas Sandwall a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rulfs Angels getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Klas Sandwall hit a great ball. David Haeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Sandwall in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Rulfs Angels got a freekick which was hit by Kim Vollander. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Haeger got free with Kim Matsson in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Alfred Helberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kim Matsson. Alfred Helberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Klas Sandwall struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Patrick Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rulfs Angels. Vimmerby FF's Patrick Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Sandwall in the 34th minute of play. Folke Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Patrick Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Matsson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Vimmerby FF's David Haeger. But to his dismay, David Haeger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ingvar Ahlbeck made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nicklas Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Rulfs Angels's goal looked a bit too open when David Haeger came free, but Kim Matsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Helberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Haeger in the 62nd minute of play. Klas Sandwall in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Håkansson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Alfred Helberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Ragnar Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klas Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Håkansson having to interfere. Kim Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Haeger in the 88th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Vimmerby FF got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Lund. 95 minutes into the match, Vimmerby FF's goalkeeper Patrick Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klas Sandwall. Kim Matsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfred Helberg went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Vimmerby FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
