Tararps if's Pontus Blomquist got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sven Utfal managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Blåbär's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Utfal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Näfver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sven Utfal came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the BK Blåbär fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Utfal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Forsman in the 12th minute of play forced Tararps if's goalkeeper Rickard Näfver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pontus Blomquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Måns Klintæus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Roland Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 32 minutes, Pontus Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tararps if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Blomquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åke Arenstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Arenstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Askstedt in the 38th minute of play. Tararps if's Måns Klintæus got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Måns Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, one of Tararps if:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tararps if. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, BK Blåbär's Markus Danielsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rickard Näfver. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Forsman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Tararps if's Ove Melberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Åke Arenstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Måns Klintæus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Åke Arenstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Arenstedt having to interfere. When Måns Klintæus came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tararps if fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Klintæus couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Pontus Blomquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Arenstedt having to interfere. Måns Klintæus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Åke Arenstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pontus Blomquist got free with Åke Arenstedt in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 84 minutes, Wiktor Lekberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tararps if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiktor Lekberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Arenstedt having to interfere. Måns Klintæus might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Arenstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Klintæus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Måns Klintæus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Forsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Forsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Many of Tararps if's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tararps if may have spent more time on the ball, but BK Blåbär were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
