After 3 minutes, Allan Askelöf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kungsör and the Garphyttan BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kungsör's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Möller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kungsör booed when Garphyttan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kungsör's Aaron Jönsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leo Persson. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. With a little luck, Garphyttan BK's Leo Persson got control of the ball when Andy Samuelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Staffan Albom during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Garphyttan BK a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Krister Ekenberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kungsör's Bengt-Rune Möller. 1-1. Andy Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Leo Persson made a huge save. Kjell Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Robert Deckberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kungsör's Bengt-Rune Möller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Greger Kellman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kungsör the free kick. Greger Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Garphyttan BK's Leo Persson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Garphyttan BK from getting a goal against them. If Kjell Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Jönsson made a kick off. Leo Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Jönsson in the 53rd minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Möller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell Hansson in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kungsör's zone, Kjell Hansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Möller came out of the goal and Kjell Hansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Deckberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kjell Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Garphyttan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Hansson couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Kjell Hansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Rune Möller. Kungsör's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjell Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 67th minute Robert Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Möller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Hansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt-Rune Möller having to make a save. Kjell Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Andy Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kungsör's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garphyttan BK's Leo Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Jönsson in the 80th minute of play. Henrik Pihlgren's late challenge caught a Garphyttan BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Pihlgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Kungsör was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Henric Hedbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Garphyttan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Sjö came free, but Leo Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aaron Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 played minutes Garphyttan BK got a freekick which was hit by Folke Näver. The supporters of Kungsör booed when Garphyttan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes Garphyttan BK got a freekick which was hit by Henric Hedbom. It was beautiful to see Kungsör's Börje Sjö in action when he in the 99th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Kungsör succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Garphyttan BK had controlled the match.
