The supporters of Malidogs booed when Kungsör was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Malidogs's Morgan Samuelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Rune Möller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Möller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Vennerdal in the 27th minute of play. Andy Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Åkerberg having to interfere. When Allan Askelöf fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kungsör's protests and gave Allan Askelöf a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kungsör getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aaron Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kungsör's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Jönsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesper Åkerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47thth minute of the game Douglas Vennerdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kungsör's Bengt-Rune Möller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Jönsson made a kick off. Jesper Åkerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Åkerberg having to interfere. In the 55th minute Aaron Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesper Åkerberg came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Kungsör's Aaron Jönsson. But to his dismay, Aaron Jönsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 59 minutes in the game, Douglas Vennerdal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bengt-Rune Möller having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Jönsson in the 78th minute of play forced Malidogs's goalkeeper Jesper Åkerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Vennerdal in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bengt-Rune Möller, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Morgan Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bengt-Rune Möller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
