With a left leg Emil Nyman saved Vikmanshyttan from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Alfons Åström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Nyman. Vikmanshyttan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Åström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 22 minutes, Kurt Uggstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikmanshyttan and the Gärds köpinge RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gärds köpinge RK booed when Vikmanshyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Uggstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vikmanshyttan's Kåre Lange got a free kick in the 26th minute. Robin Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Oskar Brodin in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Tage Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Göransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Åke Fastesson in the 36th minute. Jan-Åke Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Göransson having to interfere. A collision led to Vikmanshyttan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Erik Brodin hit a great ball. Joar Dalberg hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Edwin Walmarsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Jan Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Oskar Brodin made a kick off. Alfons Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vikmanshyttan booed when Gärds köpinge RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Mattsson in the 57th minute of play. Robin Göransson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikmanshyttan's Jan-Åke Fastesson. But to his dismay, Jan-Åke Fastesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emil Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Emil Nyman came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Gärds köpinge RK's Alfons Åström. But to his dismay, Alfons Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jan Rosén might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Nyman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Rosén ran back to his position shaking his head. After 78 minutes Gärds köpinge RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leif Mattsson who took care of the corner kick. Robin Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fastesson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Gärds köpinge RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Linberg to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Vikmanshyttan's Per-Oskar Brodin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Göransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Åke Fastesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Robin Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jan-Åke Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vikmanshyttan's Per-Oskar Brodin got a free kick in the 96th minute.
