Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustav Söderberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Smygehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Jansson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Smygehamn's Sebastian Jansson got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jan-Åke Törnkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Hamberg in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Ola Nordmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calle Bergqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustav Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Smygehamn's Calle Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Smygehamn from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Sven Åhman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Smygehamn booed when Boden IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Vollander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Åhman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Törnkvist having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Greger Kvalfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boden IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smygehamn the free kick. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boden IFK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Törnkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Åke Törnkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Hamberg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Sven Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Törnkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Smygehamn's Albin Hamberg in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boden IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Albin Hamberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jan-Åke Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albin Hamberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albin Hamberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jan-Åke Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Urban Giöck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Ola Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Ola Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Åhman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Smygehamn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Calle Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Åke Törnkvist was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Albin Hamberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albin Hamberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Albin Hamberg's late challenge caught a Boden IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Hamberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Smygehamn getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Albin Hamberg hit a great ball. If Gustav Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Hamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ola Nordmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boden IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ola Nordmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, Smygehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Anundsson to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Bergqvist having to interfere.
