In the 17thth minute of the game Marcus Soned who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castillo del Rey CF's Roland Skoog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Nilsson in the 18th minute of play. Marcus Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Skoog having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Ludvig Bergstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvetan BK and the Castillo del Rey CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the match, Kvetan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Zander came free, but Karl-Johan Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Castillo del Rey CF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jan-Åke Örtlund hit a great ball. Kvetan BK's Mårten Söderkvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Castillo del Rey CF. In the 33rd minute, Marcus Soned got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Castillo del Rey CF's Roland Skoog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Nilsson in the 39th minute of play. Robert Grönlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Malmberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Grönlund in the 44th minute of play forced Kvetan BK's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kasper Lund fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvetan BK's protests and gave Kasper Lund a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Nilsson made a kick off. Roland Skoog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Soned, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Skoog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Soned in the 55th minute of the match. Roland Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Nilsson in the 56th minute of play. Ludvig Bergstedt got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 60 played minutes Kvetan BK got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Bergstedt. 63 minutes into the game, Castillo del Rey CF's Axel Zander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Malmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 69 minutes into the game, Marcus Soned cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roland Skoog was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Castillo del Rey CF's Jan-Åke Örtlund got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Mårten Söderkvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Castillo del Rey CF's Roland Skoog didn't even have to move. When Marcus Soned came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Kvetan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Soned couldn't finish the play. Karl-Johan Malmberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Castillo del Rey CF's Robert Grönlund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Marcus Soned struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Roland Skoog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvetan BK. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Patrik Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castillo del Rey CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Malmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, Kvetan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Lund to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Edgar Berg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Johan Malmberg skillfully saved the ball. The Castillo del Rey CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Castillo del Rey CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
