But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. Niklas Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Jakobsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Hede's Niklas Alrot got control of the ball when Göran Askelöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hede's Niklas Alrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hede from getting a goal against them. In the 16th match minute, Hede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vidsel booed when Hede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Hede's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Jakobsson came free, but Niklas Alrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hede's Niklas Alrot got control of the ball when Göran Askelöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hede getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ludvig Pihlgren hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Lundqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vidsel the free kick. Ludvig Pihlgren hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoffer Jakobsson made a kick off. The Hede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Alrot should have stopped the shot. Åke Bröms kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes, Hede's Henrik Viklund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertil Blomkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hede reached it. The supporters of Vidsel booed when Hede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Viklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Vidsel's Åke Bröms in action when he in the 70th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Niklas Alrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Askelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Göran Askelöf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vidsel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Askelöf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Askelöf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Alrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Niklas Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Jakobsson in the 82nd minute of the match. Sven-Åke Lundqvist was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sven-Åke Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Christoffer Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Vidsel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. Vidsel's Göran Askelöf got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vidsel had played much better football throughout.
