In the 34thth minute of the game Vilhelm Ahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hjärnarp FK's Kent Josefsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kurt Lundberg scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Wennerquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Georg Vallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
