Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 50) Eshlik FC's Oskar Ström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes, Sixten Holmberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eshlik FC and the Lövet IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Eshlik FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Holmberg. Robin Brolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Ola Bokelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eshlik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lövet IF the free kick. Ola Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Widberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robin Brolin. Eshlik FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Folke Sjöman's late challenge caught a Eshlik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Sjöman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Folke Sjöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Eshlik FC's Holger Jonsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Kåre Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eshlik FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Kåre Lundström scored to the left of an out of position Robin Brolin, making the score, 1-0. Krister Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ove Lundgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Folke Sjöman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Eshlik FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Elias Hedman hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lövet IF's Kåre Lundström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robin Brolin. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kåre Lundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kåre Lundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Brolin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When Joacim Tinglöf came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lövet IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Tinglöf couldn't finish the play. Lövet IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Edvin Widberg in the 57th minute. Lövet IF's Sven-Edvin Widberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robin Brolin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elias Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Stefan Wallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Lövet IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias Hedman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stefan Wallman made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Elias Hedman sent off a good shot on target. Elias Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joacim Tinglöf came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Lövet IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Tinglöf couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Eshlik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Lundström came free, but Robin Brolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lövet IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eshlik FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
