An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Edström in the 22nd minute of play forced Skällinge IK's goalkeeper Knut Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Edström in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Knut Skräddare saved Skällinge IK from getting behind. Allan Alströmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Sigfridsson having to interfere. The supporters of Veggies VV booed when Skällinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Benett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sune Spetz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Knut Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Axel Mårtensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skällinge IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veggies VV the free kick. Axel Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Knut Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Skällinge IK's Knut Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Fristedt in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Ingemar Edström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skällinge IK's Knut Skräddare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Johan Sigfridsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Alströmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sune Spetz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Johan Sigfridsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skällinge IK. Allan Alströmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Sigfridsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Knut Skräddare managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Veggies VV's Ingemar Edström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Knut Skräddare acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl-Åke Lindkvist. Knut Skräddare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Edström in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Skällinge IK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Fristedt came free, but Knut Skräddare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Alströmer in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Eric Fristedt rounded Skällinge IK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 88th match minute, Skällinge IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Granqvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Edström got free with Knut Skräddare in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingemar Edström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knut Skräddare having to make a save. When the match was over Veggies VV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skällinge IK throughout the match.
