Torsten Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Göransson in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Göransson in the 8th minute of play forced Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Torsten Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Perssons short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Torsten Lundhberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Östansjö getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jan Olofsson hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Dan Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Nyberg succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Östansjö's Mårten Blomkvist hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaf Andreasson was the one to do the kick off. Gustaf Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes, Magnus Persson made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Thames Ironworks FC's Torsten Lundhberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Gustaf Andreasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magnus Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Patric Göransson came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Östansjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patric Göransson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Persson in the 86th minute of play forced Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Torsten Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Göransson in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Thames Ironworks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Persson came free, but Torsten Lundhberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Gustaf Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Blomkvist having to interfere. Östansjö's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
