Hugo Ahlqvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sköndal booed when Sanjoo’s FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Ted Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Åman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Tolsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Sköndal's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Åman came free, but Oskar Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanjoo’s FF's Nils Tolsson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sanjoo’s FF booed when Sköndal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilgot Ekman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Rudqvist in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Sanjoo’s FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Ugla to maneuver through the defense. Pål Isaksson, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Brian Ugla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Tolsson in the 43rd minute of play forced Sköndal's goalkeeper Oskar Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Ugla in the 45th minute of play. Per Billing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Vilgot Ekman made a huge save. After 47 minutes, Brian Ugla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanjoo’s FF and the Sköndal players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Åman made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sköndal's zone, Jonathan Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Lundström came out of the goal and Jonathan Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Åman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonathan Åman came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Sanjoo’s FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Åman couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Nils Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Sanjoo’s FF were awarded a corner. Brian Ugla went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Tolsson in the 75th minute of play forced Sköndal's goalkeeper Oskar Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brian Ugla came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sanjoo’s FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Ugla couldn't finish the play. Nils Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Lundström having to interfere. Brian Ugla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanjoo’s FF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sköndal to leave the ground with a draw.
