With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herman Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joar Rosin got free with Herman Lindgren in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ödåkra's goalkeeper Herman Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Ödåkra's Malcolm Snell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Collin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Söderåkra's Arne Collin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Drewitz in the 25th minute of play. Peter Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arne Collin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Herman Lindgren throw himself and got hold of the ball when Joar Rosin in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joar Rosin made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Joacim Näfver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Viktor Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Ödåkra getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Philip Uggla hit a great ball. Joar Rosin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Erik Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ödåkra's goal looked a bit too open when Joar Rosin came free, but Herman Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joakim Drewitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. In the 94th match minute, Ödåkra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Petersson to maneuver through the defense. Söderåkra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
