Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Malcolm Snell kicked off to start the match. Malcolm Snell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Malcolm Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Hurtig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folke Jonsson. Skarplöt FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Snell in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Jonsson saved Skarplöt FF from getting behind. Folke Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Drewitz in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Skarplöt FF's Kent Ståhlberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Joakim Drewitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ödåkra's zone, Tommy Alrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Lindgren came out of the goal and Tommy Alrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Malcolm Snell made a precise shot to the right of Folke Jonsson. Skarplöt FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thomas Månsson's late challenge caught a Ödåkra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Månsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Skarplöt FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Månsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Snell during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Joakim Drewitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödåkra's supporters rose to their feet, but Joakim Drewitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Jonsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Ödåkra's Malcolm Snell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Jonsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herman Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Alrot in the 33rd minute of play. Folke Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Snell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Jonsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Joakim Drewitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Jonsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Snell went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Malcolm Snell sped through Skarplöt FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Folke Jonsson.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Alrot to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Skarplöt FF booed when Ödåkra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Hurtig didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Malcolm Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute Malcolm Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Thomas Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Ödåkra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Hubert Söderberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herman Lindgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ödåkra's Joakim Drewitz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcolm Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Jonsson having to interfere. Joakim Drewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hubert Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skarplöt FF's protests and gave Hubert Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. Folke Jonsson had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Algot Lundström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ödåkra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
